Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)?

In mid-life, our hormone levels tend to decline and can cause uncomfortable symptoms. Hormone replacement therapy is one treatment option that we will discuss during your private consultation.

Our compounding pharmacy can create high-quality, customized prescription hormones that are structurally identical to natural hormones and that are in the particular dosage form that best suits an individual patient’s needs.

Is Compounding Safe For Hormonal Replacement Therapy?

Yes!  Because we can customize your prescription hormones for your individual needs, we can ensure that you are receiving the lowest appropriate dose, and that it is in the particular dosage form that best suits an individual patient’s needs.

How can I tell that I am getting a good quality supplement?

There is also no question that ALL SUPPLEMENTS ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL. This fact can be very confusing to the public who, naturally, want to seek out the best supplements available to obtain optimal outcomes. Where many companies seek out the least expensive ingredients for their products, we seek only the highest quality ingredients for our products.  We feature “professional grade” quality supplements.

What does it mean that Joshua Brown Family Pharmacy carries 'Pharmaceutical Grade' supplements?

“Pharmaceutical-grade” means that the quality and purity of our supplements are beyond question and are tested many times during the production process. These ingredients are further tested for purity and potency by certified labs.
